A pre-buy inspection is the cheapest insurance in any used-helicopter deal: an authorized Robinson service center goes through the aircraft and its paper before your money moves. APEX runs pre-buys at FXE and DXR on every R22, R44, and R66 variant, for buyers on our brokerage deals and for outside transactions alike.
What an APEX pre-buy covers
- Logbooks: completeness, AD compliance, SB status
- Component times vs each model’s overhaul limits
- Calendar life: 12-year items and what’s aging out
- Airframe: corrosion, cracks, hardware, blade condition
- Powerplant: compressions / turbine trends, leaks, hoses
- Ground run + systems check, squawk list with photos
What you get
A written report with findings, photos, component-time math against overhaul limits, and a straight read on what the aircraft is, before you commit. If the deal is through APEX brokerage, the pre-buy folds into the closing timeline.
