Robinson announced the R88 at a starting price of $3.3 million in March 2025 and confirmed it in October 2025. It is Robinson’s largest helicopter: one or two pilots, up to eight passengers and a Safran Arriel 2W turbine of more than 950 shp, with every figure still a Robinson estimate. APEX takes R88 deposits at its Connecticut dealership at Danbury (DXR).

What is inside the R88?
A flat floor runs through the cabin, so the seats can face forward or sit in a club arrangement. Robinson lists 275 cubic feet in all: 90 in the crew area, 145 in the main cabin and 40 in the cargo area.
Large sliding doors open the cabin to passengers and cargo, and a fold-down, truck-bed style rear door loads the cargo area. Cyclic controls on both sides let the aircraft be flown from either seat, and either set can be removed for a passenger.
Robinson shows the cabin set up for passengers, for medical transport and for utility work. Every figure is a Robinson estimate (February 2026).

Robinson builds the R88 in Torrance, California, and APEX coordinates delivery when Robinson schedules it.
